UnBridled Potential:

Cross Training For Your Spirit, Mind, and Body

October 2-4, 2008

Investment:  $950

This is a truly unique workshop experience for anyone looking to examine the self limiting behavior we all have and to explore how to lift the lid to expanded potential.  Combining a variety of methods participants will examine boundaries, personal accountability, and self esteem.  Each day of this three day program includes several opportunities to put the lessons to the test and increase your personal skills and confidence.

WORKSHOP INCLUDESCamel's Hump

Equine Assisted Experiential Learning

Horses will help you be more aware of what your body is telling you, to staying in the moment, and understanding how your behavior effects other people. Horses being animals of prey, are ultra sensitive to what is going on around them. They will mirror back what they see, which is often a moment of learning about ourselves. This moment of learning can help us see the "self-limiting" behaviors that may get in the way of experiencing our true potential.Six participants at a time will be working  separately with the horses. They will experience through two separate exercises, (one on one with the horse) the magic horses give. Prior horse experience is not necessary.

The Innate Comedian

This engaging, interactive workshop develops skills that enable effective communication and better self awareness through improvisation.  This work is done in a safe, supportive environment. Specific exercises help develop group cohesion to enable the participants to relax and drop their inhibitions allowing them to explore previously unknown personal traits and idiosyncrasies. It is an experiential rather than a lecture style session. Fun and challenging!

Group Interactive Exercises and Challenge

These are activities designed, first of all, to build trust within our group so that we can more deeply explore our own behavior.  With the trust established additional activities give us the opportunity to examine and discuss how we engage successfully or not in groups.  By being aware of these behaviors and developing our self-confidence and skills to engage fully, we increase our effectiveness and impact on the groups we function in on a daily basis.

Georgie Stapleton, M.A.

Georgie Stapleton, M.A.
Georgie has a Masters in Counseling Psychology, is an Approved Epona Instructor and the owner of Midnight Mountain Inc..  My home and my business, Midnight Mountain, is nestled in the mountains of Brookfield, Vermont.  I provide a safe supportive environment in which people find a way to make personal changes and find personal empowerment.

Based on the work of Linda Kohanov, (Author of Tao of Equus and Riding Between the Worlds), Working collaboratively with my horses I help facilitate personal change. My experience has taught me that the behaviors our horses display are often mirrors into our selves. These animals then patiently help us see these patterns that may keep us stuck.  No horse experience is necessary, but this work can also translates into your riding.
